Inside the FANUC America – West Campus Auburn Hills, MI

The GAV team is so proud to have partnered with General Development Company and FANUC America to design the FANUC American Corporation – West Campus, a 650,000 sf building located in Auburn Hills, MI. This marks the second industrial building to have come out of this partnership, totaling to over 1.3 million square feet designed by GAV for FANUC. As a design-build partnership with a fast-track construction plan, the project required careful deliberation, attention to detail, coordination, and focus. With the help from General Development, the entire building was able to be completed within less than 18 months! The building consists of a vast manufacturing space, offices, lobby and other areas.

FANUC’s involvement in the city of Auburn Hills, MI has created many new jobs in the area and new innovation and excitement to areas that have been quiet for a while. FANUC doesn’t seem to be stopping with their West Campus, and the GAV team is excited to see what the future holds!
